About

The Commanderie de Bordeaux à Boston was established in 1980 and since its initial Parlement and Intronization (induction) of members, the Chapter has grown to its current membership of 46 Commandeurs (Members).

The Boston Commanderie holds several parlements each year. Each parlement is  unique event and often held at a fine restaurants or private clubs in the Greater Boston area.  On occasion, a Commandeur will host an event at their home.

The membership is diverse and includes both male and female oenophiles. Many of our members enjoy traveling and visiting Bordeaux to meet the remarkable people who make the wines and experience their generous hospitality.

The Boston chapter of the Commanderie  falls under the auspices of the Commanderie de Bordeaux aux États-Unis d'Amérique, however all local activities are directed and guided by  the Committee of Direction, comprised of Commandeurs of the Boston Chapter.
